FROZEN PEELED GINGER – CLEAN, CONVENIENT, AND PRESERVING THE NATURAL WARM SPICY ESSENCE
Ginger is one of the most widely used spices and medicinal herbs in Asian cuisine and traditional medicine. Known for its pungent heat, warm aroma, and anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, ginger is a staple ingredient in daily dishes such as braises, grills, steamed dishes, and soups, as well as an essential component in folk remedies, herbal teas, and health care products.
However, fresh ginger’s rough skin, numerous small eyes, and tendency to retain soil make preparation time-consuming and labor-intensive. Frozen peeled ginger was developed to address these challenges—providing a clean, convenient solution for users, especially in industrial kitchens, restaurants, food processing plants, and beverage or tea bag production systems.
Fresh ginger is carefully selected according to quality standards, then thoroughly washed with a high-pressure water system, peeled using chemical-free technology, sliced or kept whole (depending on customer needs), and quickly frozen. The deep freezing process preserves the natural aroma, pungent essential oils, and medicinal value of ginger, while extending shelf life to 18–24 months at -18°C without the use of preservatives.
After thawing, the ginger retains firmness without water loss or odor degradation. It can be used directly for cooking, dipping sauces, essential oil extraction, making ginger syrup with rock sugar, or incorporated into dishes and beverages for export. This product is especially suitable for markets in South Korea, Japan, the Middle East, and Europe, where ginger is an indispensable part of culinary and natural health care traditions.
With flexible packaging options (vacuum-sealed PE bags, zip-lock bags, or PE-lined cartons), frozen peeled ginger meets the demands of both domestic and international customers. The production process complies with HACCP and ISO standards and can be supplemented with Global GAP or Organic certifications upon specific order requests.
Frozen peeled ginger—not just a spice, but a preserved health asset, convenient and ready to serve processing scales from small kitchens to global markets.
